Abierto a todo el público sin restricción de credo o creencias
Del 19 al 23 de Noviembre del 2010 estará en Lima, para dirigir el retiro "El Despertar de la Mente", CHÖGYAL NAMKHAI NORBU, uno de los pocos grandes maestros de la milenaria tradición Dzogchén originarios del Tíbet .
La importancia de este maestro iluminado en la tradición budista tibetana es tal que -el mes pasado- en el prestigioso Festival de Cine de Leipzig (http://www.myreincarnationfilm.com/) se presentó un documental especial que narra su vida. Namkhai Norbu ha sido además catedrático de cultura tibetana en Italia desde los años sesenta, y en 1981 fundó la Asociación Cultural Comunidad Dzogchén, que hoy cuenta con miles de socios en todo el mundo y con centros de estudio y meditación en más de 41 países. Ha escrito 80 obras de enseñanza, libros de investigación histórica, colecciones de poesía, textos de la cultura tibetana, medicina, etc.
El DZOGCHÉN es entendido como el despertar al estado primordial de iluminación que existe de forma natural en todos los seres humanos. Es un camino espiritual de autoliberación abierto a todos, hacia el completo conocimiento de uno mismo, en libertad personal y sin obligación de seguir reglas o tomar votos monásticos. El Dzogchén se basa en la transmisión y experiencia directa.
En el Perú, la COMUNIDAD DZOGCHEN es una Asociación Cultural sin fines de lucro que reúne a los estudiantes y practicantes de las Enseñanzas, quienes se proponen integrar su práctica interna con la vida familiar y laboral en un medio urbano contemporáneo.
El retiro durará cinco días, incluirá cursos de yoga y danza y se realizará en el Balneario La Marina. Ubicado en el distrito de Ancón, a la altura del kilómetro 44.5 de la carretera Panamericana Norte. |

HOSPEDAJE: S/. 180 ó US$ 70 por persona.
El Hospedaje son BUNGALOWS que se comparten entre 4 personas, todos los Bungalows cuentan con cocina y refrigedora, por lo tanto es posible cocinar dentro del Bungalow. Todos tienen un costo por PERSONA de S/. 180 o US$ 70 por las CUATRO (4) noches que dura el retiro.

CHÖGYAL NAMKHAI NORBU, one of the foremost Tibetan living masters of the ancient Dzogchen tradition, will be in Lima from November 19 – 23. He will give teachings on “The Awakening of the Mind”
The life of this renowned high Tibetan spiritual master was recently presented in the documentary “My Reincarnation” at the International Leipzig Festival (http://www.myreincarnationfilm.com)
Namkhai Norbu is also widely recognized as a leading authority on Tibetan culture, and served as Professor of Tibetan and Mongolian Language and Literature at the Naples Eastern University in Italy from 1964 to 1992. In 1981 he founded the first centre of the International Dzogchen Community, which has rapidly developed around the world, in more than 41 countries.
In 1988 Namkhai Norbu founded ASIA, a non-profit organization operating in Tibet which is mainly dedicated to meeting the educational and medical needs of the Tibetan people. In 1989 he created the Shang Shung Institute to preserve the cultural traditions of Tibet.
Namkhai Norbu is the author of many books on Dzogchen as well as scholarly articles on Tibetan history, medicine, astrology, and the Bon tradition. His books on Dzogchen have become classics.
Even today Chogyal Namkhai Norbu continues to travel constantly all over the world, giving talks and holding retreats attended by thousands of people.
Dzogchen means Total Perfection and refers to the condition of primordial potentiality or natural condition of the mind that is found in every individuaL. We enter into this knowledge through the Dzogchen teaching, the spiritual path of self-liberation, open to all, without the need to take monastic vows. The Dzogchen teaching is based on transmissions from master to disciple and on direct experiences.
The Dzogchen Community of Peru is a non-profit organization that gathers practitioners who are interested in following the teaching, integrating it into their daily lives within an urban and contemporary context.
The five-day retreat will take place at a seaside resort located in Ancon, 1 1/2 hours from Lima by car. It will include yantra yoga and vajra dance courses. |
